So i’m testing out some CHAT/IM for this blog.

1. Plugoo is real time chat from your blog/website to your IM. 3 easy steps
a) Sign up & Fill out your profile
b) Login to your account and go to > my widget to customize the look& feel (mine is default)
c) embed the code
It’s free at first but when you want to let multiple users chat with you, then u gotta pay. Thats the only part that sucks. Here is what plugoo will look like (this is fully functional by the way, feel free to msg me)

2. Meebome is similarly, real time chat over your blog/website, and it CAN be integrated with your IM but it requires that your IM be logged on using meebome’s website, which i kinda find troublesome. Plugoo’s integration was seamless, integrated with (in my case), my MSN window that was already running. But signup and getting the html for meebome is MUCH faster and easier. i got this up and running in 2 mintues. Feel free to msg me but its most likely i’m not keeping meebos page open.
3. Gabbly is incredibly easy to use and get started with. it doesnt require signup unless you plan to host it to make money. it DOESNT integrate with your IM, which means the chat starts and stops in this page only. The code is a bit shaky and prone to errors if you add whitespace where its not supposed to be. like right as we speak, my stupid chat box just dissappeared again. Is it because im using chrome or something? Can someone more tech oriented explain this crap to me??
VERDICT - I’m all for PLUGOO SIMPLY because it integrates seamlessly to my existing MSN. that way, i dont need to endlessly monitor my blog and users can still message me directly. Multi-user Plugoo would be ideal, but i dont think id fork out the money.
