Mike (elevyn.com) and I were having this little talk about “yammer vs present.ly” , and he was saying that the trend is for web apps to come up with a generic system that hits the entire market then eventually smaller sites come out with niche target subjects. So it isn’t really all that hard to pick a random subject matter and come up with a niche version of a viable web app/business (i.e. Ebay > etsy, Twitter > Yammer, Facebook > Socialwalk, lol ). However, as all experienced entreprenuers would say, your idea is worth squat, its all in the execution.

Anyway here is a real chance to see execution in action, because these 2 guys launched pretty much at the same time with pretty much the same product offering, and a follow up 6months to a year from now will showcase the difference in execution. cant wait.
